MINISTERS WHO CAN’T WIN THEIR TURF SHOULD QUIT!

MENTERI

I have given up and asked my acquaintances to stop asking me when the elections will be held, or the dissolution of Parliament will be called. My advice for non-political friends is to maintain business as usual and politician buddies to be on DEFCON 2. When the PM and his Deputy are ready, it will arrive.

But for fun, let’s have one final look at it before I go into the real topic of today’s article.

If it is imperative that the date is known, one can use the theory of deduction. If we want to have simultaneous elections nationwide then we can’t do so before Selangor dissolves their Legislative Assembly said to be sometime at the end of this month, neither can we hold it for more than 60 days after the dissolution of the first State Legislative Assembly, which was in Negeri Sembilan last month.

The window I take it, is anytime after 28th April but before 26th May 2013. Working backwards, considering the elections will be on or around 29th April with a ten-day campaign period, nomination day would then be around the 19th, and if dissolution of Parliament is announced a week before that, then it would be around the 12th of April.

All this is not a bother to many of us anymore. What is buggering our thoughts at this point in time is the troubling rumour that there are several Ministers who have failed to serve their constituencies properly and are down on the cards to get “creamed” by the opposition if they run in the same place. What is more alarming is that they are said to be seeking from the good Prime Minister to be maintained as candidates to contest in safer seats outside of their own field.

I pray that this is not true. But if it is, then these Ministers should be crucified considering they have SINFULLY ceased to be winnable candidates in their home grounds.

The Prime Minister would be seen to be eating his own words if he fields non-winning candidates in these individuals and worse, be seen very foolish in keeping the Ministers who have failed him and themselves, shamefully asking to be given another chance to fail yet again. The same goes with Deputy Ministers with similar disorders.

Johor Is A State Where There Are No Limitations In Bright Talents In Politics. If There Is Any Minister From This Great State Who Will Be Fielded In A Different And Safer Constituency Just To Save His Political Arse, He Will For Certain Be Looked Down Upon And Ridiculed With Utter Disgust By The Rakyat Of Johor For Being A Parasite Of The Lowest Order.

What’s More Unfortunate Is That Respect Will Surely Depreciate For Our Leaders Who Will Have Gone Against Their Very Own Preached Principles Of Recognizing And Nominating “Winning” Candidates Within Their Own Constituencies Of Which They Labored For In Past Decades.

Let Us Hope That There Is No Such Scum In The Future World Of Perfect Politics Under The Leadership Of Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Razak, And Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

This Should Be A Brand New Deal, With A Brand New Team Realizing Our Brand New Dream.

Godspeed.

STATE OF THE NATION

The Prime Minister Of Malaysia

Today’s much anticipated “State of the Nation” address will be the last one before the Nation goes to the polls.

This evening, the Right Honourable Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, will report to the Rakyat, the development of the Government Transformation Program (GTP) which includes the seven National Key Results Area (NKRA) involving the Cost of Living, Crime Rate, Fighting Corruption, Improving Student Outcomes, Raising Living Standards of Low-Income Households, Improving Rural Basic Infrastructure and Improving Urban Public Transport.

Generally without even having to hear the Prime Minister tonight, the public at large should have already witnessed some of the achievements of the NKRA to date.

Today, Malaysians can afford goods and services of better quality. Destitution is wiped out and the low-income households have received direct aide, which is something that has never been seen in the history of this Nation.

We are much safer than we were 5 years ago, albeit the fear still remain for some, but with the reinforcement of security personnel in high-risk areas and good co-operation between the public and the police force, the crime rate has declined significantly.

Corruption is reduced and recognized by international bodies from what we’ve read in the news. Examples to substantiate this, is the vast increase in the frequencies of summons being issued over the last year in my observation and personal hits on me ( being flagged down) by the traffic cops, and number of arrest cases brought to trial seen in media reports.

The quality of education has improved in addition to providing skills to make them more useful for the market beyond our shores.

A large number of affordable housing has been introduced and launched with keys presented to buyers and tenants in the past years. More roads have been built with utilities being upgraded and given provision to the target areas.

From what we have gathered so far, we’ve seen an almost 50% rise in the Gross National Income from USD 6, 700 in 2009 to USD 9, 970 in 2012. All things being equal, and with the will of God, we will hit the USD 15, 000 GNI per capita target even before the 2020 deadline. Our Gross Domestic Product (GDP), rose 5.6 percent compared to Singapore’s 1.3 percent, doing better than South Korea which contracted by 2% and Taiwan 1.25%.

These Are Two Safe Indicators To Determine The Direction Of Our Economy And Our “Bull’s Eye” On A Developed Status By 2020.

This Random Information Is What My Acquaintances And I Have Observed And Enjoyed. But Let’s Hear What “The Man Of Our Time” Has To Report Tonight In His Address On:

THE STATE OF THE NATION.

LET THERE BE NO MERCY

Jamalul D Kiram III, Malaysia’s Most Wanted Criminal; the man who claims to be the Sultan who owns the 200 strong army with modern weaponry that invaded Sabah but is said to be on charity from the Philippine Sweepstakes Office to help pay for his dialysis, suddenly realized today the gravity of his crime that could lead him to the hangman’s noose and cowardly asked for a ceasefire, perhaps in an endeavor to escape from an imminent execution.

Rightfully, Prime Minister Najib rejected the offer and issued an ultimatum to his party to surrender unconditionally or face the ultimate consequence.

It is easy to sacrifice the lives of others from afar turning them into voluntary hostages without them knowing while seeking a ransom for personal wealth.

This is what Kiram III has turned his sacrificial lambs into this past month until it dawned on him that the Government of Malaysia will not bow down to terrorist demands as proven in the past, and that his actions will lead him to his own slaughter.

We must be stern and stay the course until its final conclusion which will not be that soon if we consider charging and also executing his Malaysian conspirators and traitors, who no doubt must be trembling in fear as this is being read.

Al-Fatiha And Rest In Peace

Let Not The Deaths Of These Fine Patriots Above Be In Vain, For They Laid Down Their Precious Lives For Our Security, Freedom And Democracy.

In The Name Of Our “ DAULAT “, Let There Be No Mercy On Those Who Gave Us None.

Their Day Of Judgment Has Come.

REGRETTABLE BUT CRITICALLY NECESSARY

We Should Fly The Flag At Half Mast At Least Until Our Patriot Heroes Are Laid To Rest

There are those who might want to condemn the few who saw this engagement as necessary and inevitable.

Make no mistake. I am a Patriot first, then Politician. While several others succeed in transforming from Politicians to Patriots in this serious circumstance without politicizing the situation, there are some writers who prefer to change into politicians and diplomats overnight implying that others are attempting to score points but not them.

Point 1.

We gave the rebels 3 weeks to surrender while the free media were fanning the “Sabah is Ours” sentiment in the Philippines and it was spreading like wildfire even getting sympathy from some quarters from the international arena, though Manila did not sanction it. The longer it takes to correct the situation, the more they will believe it to be true and gain sympathy for the Criminal Trespassers.

Point 2.

Negotiations were ongoing despite the end of the deadline but they drew first blood by launching their mortar killing two of our commandos who were not on the offence mode.  Perhaps these peace-loving paid commentators would have preferred us to continue negotiating over a cup of tea and some biscuits until they decided to leave.

Point 3.

Negotiation means there is a possibility that both parties can come to an agreement. They want Sabah to be theirs and were willing to die for it.  Putrajaya was not going to allow it. No one was willing to compromise. There was no equation except to let them continue occupying the area indefinitely.  Not even Henry Kissinger, being the best diplomat of our time could have saved this one in his prime. So the inevitable had to come.

Point 4.

Working for peace is noble. No one can fault us for not trying. But if the “gangrene” is not addressed in good time, it will spread and they will occupy the area until they get legitimacy, displacing our own citizens in the area and sending the wrong message to the other rebels who lost their cause elsewhere and would like to try their luck here.

Point 5.

If the Lt General in charge of Intel weren’t sleeping on the job, we would have caught onto the motive of the traitor who met with these troublemakers. We even have photos of the said meeting provided by the Philippine intelligence. What are we doing about it?

Unlike writers who think they are righteous in every way, our men in uniform knew what they signed up for when they answered the call of duty.

Today two of our great men perished while a few others were injured.

It was reported too that the standoff has ended with twelve rebels killed and ten surrendered. Nothing is said about the other 158 remaining.

This was unavoidable. Their leader was steadfast, stubborn and they launched the first attack. Diplomacy didn’t fail as some skeptics would put it. It just wasn’t an option given by the Sulu criminals.

I can’t begin to fathom how the Prime Minister feels at this moment, as he is indeed a Man of Peace and wished to avoid bloodshed. But we all need to now stand behind him in assurance that what he commanded was the right thing to do for our Country.

The Final Step Is To Charge The Traitor And His Accomplices Who Were Alleged To Have Committed Treason. For This, We Should Introduce The Execution As Punishment By Firing Squad To Be Witnessed By The Family Of The Slain Heroes.

May Allah Bless The Souls Of Our Patriots, Insp Zulkifli Bin Mamat, 29 And Koperal Sabaruddin Bin Daud, 47 As Well As Those Still Living, Risking Their Lives Everyday In The Line Of Fire So That We Can All Sleep In Peace At Night In Our Safe Homes.

On Behalf Of A Grateful Nation, I Sincerely Hope The Government Will Offer Full Scholarships Among Others For Their Children’s Education As A Small Token Of Appreciation For Their Services To Our One God, King And Country.

Al-Fatiha.
